CLIMATE CHANGE
Contributor to a round-table conversation between arts practitioners, educationalists and environmentalists about how to engage children in the issue of climate change. Conversation hosted by the Ashden Directory, an organisation bringing together environmentalism and the performing arts. [2005]

STORIES IN THE PARK
Performances for family groups inspired by woodland and parkland at Morton Stanley Park near Redditch in Worcestershire. [2004-05]

GROUNDWORK HERTFORDSHIRE
Performances to celebrate the opening of a community garden attached to a Chinese Community Centre in Harlow, Essex. Project initiated by Groundwork, a leading environmental regeneration charity. [2005]

STORIES ON THE DOWNS
School-based workshops and site-specific performances on the chalk grasslands of Blows Down in Bedfordshire as part of an ongoing regeneration project initiated by environmental arts organisation Freeform Arts. [2004]

CREEK TALES
A week of site-specific workshops and an end-of-project performance by “gifted and able” children exploring the low-tide environment of a Thames tributary at the Creekside Centre in Deptford, South East London. Project initiated by theatre in education organisation MakeBelieve Arts. [2004]

AMAZING MYTHS
A collaboration with Coventry's Belgrade Theatre on a carnival project in which the city centre was transformed as gigantic costumed figures from creation myths processed through the streets. [2003]

EARTH WATER SKY
A collaboration with 'artzero children's art' and Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park exploring the natural environment of an urban graveyard. [2003]

TRAFALGAR SQUARE
Performances in a yurt - circular tent structure - installed in the middle of central London's Trafalgar Square as part of an event organised by Greenwich + Docklands Festivals. [2003]

OUR LOCAL CANAL
A collaboration with 'artzero children's art,' Lea Rivers Trust and two East London primary schools in an exploration of the flora and fauna of an urban canal environment. [2003]

NATIONAL TRUST
Residencies at Morden Hall Park as part of London Links - Connecting People Through Place, an arts and environment project exploring creative responses to particular sites. Working with pre-school children and young people with learning difficulties to produce a picture-book and create murals, using the creatures and plants in the park as inspiration.

COMMUNITY GARDEN
Storytelling trails around Roots and Shoots, a community garden in South London. [2002]

THE SCIENCE MUSEUM
Presenting Earth Water Sky, a programme of stories songs and games celebrating the natural world as part of Climate Change, an exhibition about global warming. [2002]

LANDSCAPED GARDENS
Tours of and performances in National Trust properties at Claremont Gardens and Pollesden Lacy in Surrey. [2001-03]

WOODLAND WALKS
Site-specific performances and workshops at Box Hill, a National Trust woodland site in Surrey. [1997 - 2001]

CITY FARM
Residency at Surrey Docks City Farm in South London combining tours of the farm with school-based outreach work. [2001]

URBAN REGENERATION PROJECT
Working with a photographer and four inner-city primary schools on Peckham Partnerships, a public art project creating designs for permanent banners attached to new street lights in Peckham Rye Lane, South London. [1998]

TALKING TREES
With Bedfordshire primary school children, site-specific performances and workshops about trees. Project culminating in a public performance under a 250 year-old cedar tree. [1997]

BEDFORDSHIRE WOODLAND AND RIVERSIDE
Storytelling trails incorporating local legends, lore and history of Bedfordshire woodland and riverside landscapes. [1995 & 1996]

COMMON LORE STORYTELLING COMPANY
With a company of storytellers and musicians, co-devising Lore of the Land, a storytelling show about the natural environment. [1996]

ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL
An urban environment project in partnership with the South Bank Centre and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, working with children and teachers towards The City of Imagination, a presentation at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. [1991]

STORYTELLING IN THE SUBWAYS
In collaboration with the storytelling company Common Lore and the South London Art Gallery, underground storytelling sessions inspired by new murals in the subways at Elephant and Castle in South London. [1994]

THE GREEN UMBRELLA
Contribution to an anthology of stories, songs and poems with an environmental theme designed for use in school assemblies. [A & C. Black, published in association with the World Wide Fund for Nature, 1991]
